A note from Jan…

2014-10-AmericanahPlease see attached feedback for Americanah by Chimamada Ngozi Adichie.
2015-xx-The-Last-RunawayMy next recommendation is The Last Runaway by Tracy Chevalier
I am hoping to come back to Berlin in January or February but I’m moving to London  permanently this weekend.  When I know in more detail, I’ll email everyone with news of my next visit.
I’ve been organising these groups for ten years and have enjoyed every discussion. A big thank you to everyone who has been part of the groups. I’m going to miss you all. Fingers crossed that I can find a way to continue, but I will only be able to come intermittently, not on a regular basis..
In the meantime, all the very best for the festive season.

Looking forward to more great discussions. Americanah is a longer novel than we usually read, but it’s well worth the effort!

All best,
